Brian Briggs, PE
Owner and President
Brian Briggs is the Owner and President of Briggs Equipment Sales, Inc. Brian has an Associate of Science from Southern Maine Community College in Heating and Air Conditioning (1980), a Bachelor of Science from the University of Maine in Mechanical Engineering Technology (1987) and is a Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Maine (2002). Brian began his career as a technician and after completing his engineering studies was offered a full time position as a Sales Engineer with the W.D. Griffin Company, which he purchased 12 years later and re‐named Briggs Equipment Sales, Inc. Brian has been involved in all aspects of the HVAC business including installation, service, controls, sales, engineering and business management. Brian is committed to the growth of Briggs Equipment Sales, Inc. through dedication to the manufacturers Briggs represents and value for the customers they serve.
Annmarie Juliano has been with Briggs Equipment Sales, Inc. (BES) since January 2009. Annmarie came to BES with extensive experience in the industry, previously working at two of the largest mfr. rep. firms in Phoenix and Houston; Annmarie has sold and supported Daikin (formerly McQuay) and many other manufacturers of HVAC equipment for 20 years. At BES, Annmarie provides equipment engineering data support to consulting engineers and installation support to contractors while also handling equipment submittals, orders and project management. Annmarie has a Bachelor’s degree in marketing which contributes to the creation of professional documents required in today’s construction environment. Annmarie is committed to customer and manufacturers satisfaction and is an instrumental member of the BES team.
Bruce Briggs joined Briggs Equipment Sales, Inc. (BES) as a Salesman in 2007 and is responsible for consulting engineer equipment selection and support, inside and outside sales and managing the Plan and Specification bid project schedule. Bruce began his career in the HVAC business in 1985 and spent 22 years as a Mechanical Contractor specializing in hydronic piping, duct work, air conditioning, equipment, plumbing, and medical gas. Bruce holds a Maine State Plumbing License and a Maine State Gas License. Bruce is committed to detailed proposals so that mechanical contractors have accurate information on bid day.
Office Manager, Accounting
Terry Girouard joined Briggs Equipment Sales, Inc. (BES) in 2001 as an Administrative Assistant and is currently the Office Manager. Terry is responsible for managing all aspects of office administration including accounting, human resources, supplies, literature and order processing. Terry also handles inside parts sales, warranty administration and provides support for the equipment sales effort. Terry held a previous position as an Administrative Assistant for 13 years in a local school system where she developed the organizational skills that make her an invaluable member of the BES team.
Jim Lacombe joined Briggs Equipment Sales, Inc. (BES) as Senior Technician in 2009. Jim earned an HVAC & R diploma in air conditioning and refrigeration at EMTC in Bangor. Jim has been in the HVAC & R business since (1983) and holds a State of Maine Limited Electrician License for refrigeration and air conditioning and an Unlimited State of Maine Gas License. Jim has been factory trained and certified for start-ups on Daikin Chiller, Micro-tech Controls, Rooftop Equipment as well as Dectron Dehumidification systems. Additionally Jim has extensive training and experience working on Daikin Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV) systems. Jim’s commitment to his position is an integral part of the Value Added Service provided by BES.
Aftermarket Sales & Service Manager
Benjamin Briggs joined Briggs Equipment Sales, Inc. (BES) in 2012 as a Junior Technician. Ben currently serves as After Market Sales and Service Manager and is responsible for the Value Added Service BES is known to provide. Ben has extensive training and certificates for all aspects of HVAC equipment and is highly skilled with VRV System and control integration. Ben is committed to the growth of BES through outstanding service after the sale.
Tyler Harlow joined Briggs Equipment Sales, Inc. (BES) in 2017 as a Junior Technician. Tyler’s current responsibility is to assist in all aspects of the service effort. Tyler has previous mechanical experience in the Flue Gas Industry where he was responsible for the design and sales of Flue Gas components. Tyler also served our country as a U.S. Marine for five years.
